LISA of BLACKPINK is about to release her solo album ALTER-EGO on February 28, marking a major step in her solo career. Earlier this month, she dropped a reworked version of ‘Born Again,’ featuring Doja Cat and RAYE.

In addition to her album, LISA is working on a comic book called ALTER-EGO: THE OFFICIAL COMIC, which is set to launch on March 24. It’s a collaboration with Zero Zero Entertainment, run by Josh Frankel, the founder of Z2 Comics.

The comic, inspired by LISA’s album, will feature 56 pages of artwork by MINOMIYABI, a Japanese artist who’s worked for Walt Disney Imagineering and Gorillaz. The team behind the comic includes Brandon Montclare as the writer, Derick Jones for the backgrounds, and Fred Stresing handling colors.

The comic tells the story of Vixi, a quiet tech genius who fixes arcade machines rather than seeking attention. She forms a bond with four diverse characters.

Roxi, a social star who wants more real connections; Kiki, an arcade champion with an unbreakable spirit; Sunni, a gentle peacemaker hiding her struggles; and Speedi, a fearless risk-taker who needs to learn to slow down. When Vixi gets trapped in a virtual nightmare by some bullies, her friends rush to the digital battleground to help her, showing that while Vixi is independent, she doesn’t have to face challenges alone.

LISA will also take the stage at Coachella in April for her solo debut.
