‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Team Wants Wilson Bethel’s Bullseye to Lead Disney+ Series!

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is set to release soon, bringing back fan-favorite characters like Charlie Cox as Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin, Elden Henson as Foggy, and Deborah Ann Woll as Karen.
While much of the plot remains under wraps, we do know that Kingpin will rise to power as the Mayor of New York City, using his influence to eliminate vigilantes and superheroes. Another exciting return is Wilson Bethel as Bullseye, a role he first brought to life in the original Daredevil series. Though his involvement was initially kept under wraps, set leaks have confirmed his comeback.
In a recent interview with Big Screen Berkan, Dario Scardapane and Sana Amanat revealed that they want Bethel’s Bullseye to have a much bigger future in the MCU. When asked which character they would like to see get a standalone show, they unanimously agreed: Bullseye.
Dario Scardapane further explained that it’s good to dream about several characters having their own standalone shows but they are not done with Born Again.
We have this corner of our world we know built two sides to it. Like the Murdock side and the Fisk side. The Fisk side has a staff now, and we haven’t mixed and matched those interactions. I wouldn’t say that I wouldn’t spin somebody off when we are finished with them…but we’re so not finished with them.
Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter in the original show is a dangerous FBI agent who can turn anything into a deadly weapon. He grew up in an orphanage and was sent for psychiatric treatment after killing his baseball coach.
With the help of his treatment and military training, he kept his morals until his psychiatrist died. After that, he was manipulated by Wilson Fisk to become a fake Daredevil, killing people for Fisk and ruining Matt Murdock’s reputation.
Eventually, Murdock showed Poindexter that Fisk had controlled him, leading to a violent showdown between Poindexter, Fisk, and Murdock. Poindexter ended up paralyzed, and Fisk was arrested.
We can’t wait to see the continuation of his character arc. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below!
