‘Stan Lee: The Final Chapter’ Trailer Released – Documentary Exposes Heartbreaking Exploitation

A new documentary, Stan Lee: The Final Chapter, will reveal the heartbreaking truth about the final years of Marvel legend Stan Lee. Directed by Jon Bolerjack, who worked closely with Lee, the film shows how Lee was taken advantage of by people he trusted.
Bolerjack, who was one of Lee’s assistants, captured hundreds of hours of footage while traveling with him. The documentary includes evidence of how Lee was used for money at conventions, with large sums from autographs and photos never reaching him or his family.
Lee’s struggles with elder abuse made headlines before his passing in November 2018. Just months before his death, he filed a restraining order against his former business partner Keya Morgan. In 2019, Morgan was arrested on elder abuse charges after allegedly manipulating Lee.
Bolerjack, deeply moved by what he witnessed, felt responsible for telling Lee’s story. “He trusted me to film his final years and wanted me to share the truth after he was gone,” he said.
The documentary is almost finished, but Bolerjack is launching a Kickstarter to raise funds for its completion. The film is expected to be released before the end of the year. A trailer has also been released, giving fans a first look at this emotional project.
Those interested in supporting the film can visit its Kickstarter page.
