MCU Insider Claims ‘Vision’ Series Will Connect to ‘Avengers’ Films!

In October 2022, it was announced that Vision Quest was in development, with Jac Schaeffer serving as head writer and executive producer. By May 2023, Eileen Shim had joined the series as a writer as well.
However, Schaeffer shifted her focus to Agatha All Along, and now Vision Quest is being led by Terry Matalas. With Matalas at the helm, this marks Marvel’s first new live-action TV series in nearly two years, signaling a shift in their approach to TV production on Disney+.
Previously, Marvel followed a movie-style model with directors and creative leaders in charge, but starting in 2022, they switched to a more traditional TV model, with longer development timelines and writer-producers as showrunners.
There have been some major updates recently. Paul Bettany revealed that he is preparing for his role as White Vision by watching Agatha All Along, hinting that the two shows are connected. Which would make sense taking into account that the show is part of the trilogy along with Agatha All Along and WandaVision.
Additionally, James Spader was confirmed to return as Ultron a few months ago, alongside Todd Stashwick, whose role remains unconfirmed. The show will follow White Vision’s journey after the events of WandaVision‘s finale.
Now industry insider Alex Perez has some new inside information regarding the show. During his most recent AMA Perez confirmed that the Vision Quest series will connect to the Avengers films.
He also confirmed that Paul Bettany’s White Vision will continue his journey from WandaVision.
While this isn’t much, we also need to remind our readers about concept art leak that happened a week ago. The concept art showcased a “female Ultron.” At this point, this can be Ultron inhabiting a female-looking body or as several fans pointed out that the concept art may show Jocasta.
Jocasta is an advanced AI who overcame her programming and became a hero. She was created by Ultron to be his robotic bride, using the Wasp’s consciousness. However, she resisted and joined the Avengers instead.
Now that we know that Ultron variants are possibly in the game, it’s not that difficult to imagine that those variants might be connected to Multiverse in general hence providing a connection to the upcoming Avengers installments.
