'Deadpool / Wolverine #3' Preview: Wolverine Has to Beat the S**t Out of Deadpool, But It's for a Good Cause (This Time)

The friendship between Deadpool and Wolverine is one of the most popular and enduring ones in Marvel’s universe. And although it’s been one-sided at times, Deadpool has always been there to support his pal Wolverine, even if Wolverine did not want him there.

The dynamic was portrayed in the recent cinema hit, but the Deadpool / Wolverine comic book is also building on that tradition with new stories. Deadpool / Wolverine #3 is coming out next week and in this report, we are going to bring you an early preview of what you can expect.

The comic book is scheduled for a March 19, 2025 release. The story is going to be written by Benjamin Percy, with art by Joshua Cassara. As for the plot, it seems that Wolverine is going to have to beat the living daylights out of Deadpool (again), but this time, it seems to be for a good cause, as Deadpool is not really himself. Here is the official synopsis:

LOGAN VS. WADE! The knock-down, drag-out DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE fight you’ve been clamoring for! DEADPOOL is under the influence — no, not that way! A psychic force compels Deadpool into actions that aren’t his own, carrying out a devastating mission that could mean the end of the world. WOLVERINE’s only hope to uncover the mystery and save the planet is to beat the absolute $@#% out of Deadpool — and hey, you don’t have to ask Logan twice!
