We don’t have the details about why the movie was released in Japan just now, but with so much hype, it is not surprising that Japanese audiences have rushed to the theaters to see the movie, which brought a significant amount of cash to the film.

So far, the movie has managed to earn more than $730 million, which makes its theatrical run quite impressive, but the Japanese numbers reveal that more than $5 million can be added to the total result, as that is how much the movie has earned in Japan so far, which is great.

While the movie is unlikely to reach the famed $1-billion mark, these numbers still add up for an impressive box office run, and we are sure that the sequel will do even better once it comes out later this year!
