10 Most Evil Members of the Injustice League

To create a perfect equilibrium in the Universe, there must be both Good and Evil. In DC Comics, no group personifies good quite like the Justice League. Superman. Batman. Wonder Woman. The Flash. Green Lantern. The Justice League is everything that’s right in the world. They stand up for what’s right, uphold a set of values that makes Mother Teresa smile, and do whatever it takes to maintain both.
On the other end of the spectrum lies the Injustice League. Whereas the Justice League stands for what’s right, the Injustice League stands for, well, what’s not right. Over the years there have been many members of the League, but only a few are worthy enough to be called
10. Captain Cold
You’ll probably notice a theme as I count down these members. A theme?
Yes. Each of the characters on this list is either the greatest enemy of an important DC superhero or darn close to it. Captain Cold is a perfect example of this. He is, of course, one of The Flash’s greatest enemies.
Unlike many other members of the Injustice League, Captain Cold isn’t truly evil. Rather than killing at will, Captain Cold holds a code of honor that doesn’t allow him to use drugs, commit senseless violence, or kill women and children. Therefore, while he is a member of the Injustice League, if there was ever a half evil Justice League, he would be its leader.
9. Catwoman
If you are surprised that Catwoman was/is (depending on when you read this) one of the members of the Injustice League, you’re not alone. Like Captain Cold, Catwoman lives by a semi-ethical code of conduct. Whereas he won’t kill women or children, do drugs, or commit senseless violence, Catwoman won’t steal from those less fortunate.
Catwoman is one of Batman’s greatest enemies and friends. She is Gotham’s greatest thief, most skilled rooftop jumper, part
8. Deathstroke
Don’t get him confused with Marvel’s Deadpool. Although the two share a similar name, costume, and skill set, they are as opposite as they come. Deadpool is known for his wit, violence, and the way he communicates with the reader whereas Deathstroke is known as DC’s best assassin. This is so much that if there is a bounty placed, Deathstroke is called. And why?
He’s one of the most expertly trained fighters in DC. In fact, Deathstroke has gone toe-to-toe with just about every hero in DC and has always walked away.
7. Gorilla Grodd
No matter how ludicrous it may seem to have a wa
Gorilla Grodd is so popular that he has jumped from the pages of comic books and appeared on CW’s Flash television series. If you’ve ever watched the show, you know exactly how intimidating he is. Grodd doesn’t only command the respect of those around him, he beats it into any who don’t give it to him.
6. Black Adam
When the Wizard Mamaragan needed to pick a person to bestow his power to, his first choice wasn’t Billy Batson. Nope. His first choice was Adam Teth. Unfortunately for the Wizard, Teth proved to be unworthy of his power. Rather than using it for good, Teth used it to inflict pain and subjugate those under him.
Black Adam is the opposite of everything that Shazam stands for. Whereas Shazam is the protector of the people, Black Adam wishes to rule the people. Like so many members of the Injustice League, Black Adam only wants what’s best for him … which is exactly why he belongs on this list.
5. Cheetah
Although there have been many iterations of the Cheetah character, the only one that concerns me is Barbara Ann Minerva. This version of Cheetah first appeared in Wonder Woman Volume 2, #7 and has been a thorn in the side of the heroine since.
Like the other Cheetah’s, she possesses superhuman strength, speed,
4. Sinestro
It’s an interesting dynamic when your greatest enemy is almost as well-known as you are. Right? Sinestro is the sworn enemy of Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps. But it wasn’t always this way.
For a time, Sinestro was considered the greatest of the Green Lanterns. He kept law and order in a way that nobody could. Unfortunately, that way included fear and violence. Once ousted from the Green Lanterns, Sinestro created his own Lantern Corps, the Yellow Lantern Corps. With the power of the Yellow Lanterns behind him, Sinestro has been able to wreak havoc unlike any in the DC Universe.
3. Lex Luthor
Lex Luthor is arguably Superman’s greatest enemy. Yet, for a being with no inherent powers, it’s a wonder how he’s even considered as such.
Lex is one of the wealthiest people in all of DC and uses it for the betterment of only himself. He, without fear of sounding cliche, wants to rule the world. That is, he’ll stop at nothing to get what he wants. He’s selfish, greedy, manipulative, and vile…all great traits for someone who was one of the original members of the Injustice League.
2. Black Manta
The only of Aquaman’s enemies worthy of this list, Black Manta is one of the most important members of the Injustice League. If you’ve watched the Aquaman movie, you’re very familiar with his story. If not … he is the arch
Of all the terrible things supervillains have done over the years, very few have done what Black Manta has done … killed a baby. Yes, it’s true. In one of the most famous comic book series of events, Black Manta kidnapped Aquababy, suffocated him, and forced Aquaman to fight Aqualad for his freedom.
1. Joker
In the entirety of the comic book medium, there isn’t a single villain more known than the Joker. He is the Clown Prince of Crime who knows no boundaries. The Joker has 1) Killed one of the many Robin’s 2) Paralyzed Barbara Gordon 3) Brutalized James Gordon and 4) Tricked Superman into killing a pregnant Lois Lane. Not only is the Joker one of the quintessential members of the Injustice League, but he’s also so much worse than anyone else on this list.
