A-List Star Rumored to Join MCU as Hawkeye’s Brother, Trickshot—In Season 2 and Beyond!

Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye is a beloved character in the MCU. His last live-action appearance was in the Hawkeye series, though he recently voiced a role in the What If…? Season 2 episode, What If…Happy Hogan Saved Christmas.

Disney+ shows don’t usually get second seasons, except for Loki, which had an even more successful second run. However, rumors suggest that Hawkeye might break this trend, as Season 2 is reportedly in development. While there’s no official confirmation yet, an industry insiders in the past have shared a few hints about the plot.

Kate Bishop will have a bigger role in Hawkeye Season 2, now that she has taken on the Hawkeye mantle. The show is also expected to keep its winter setting.

Now insider Daniel Richtman says that Marvel Studios has offered an A-list actor the role of Clint Barton’s brother, Trickshot. This character will debut in Hawkeye Season 2 and will appear in other MCU projects as well.

Trickshot, whose real name is Charles “Barney” Barton, is Hawkeye’s older brother in Marvel Comics. He has the same amazing archery skills as Clint but often gets into trouble. Barney’s relationship with Clint is complicated, as he can be both a friend and a foe. As Trickshot, he sometimes acts as a villain but also has moments where he seeks redemption, making him a fascinating and unpredictable character. We’re excited to see how he will be brought into the MCU!
