‘Agatha All Along’ Is Just the Beginning for MCU’s Mephisto, the Character Has an Exciting Future Ahead

Episode 3 of ‘Agatha All Along’ name-dropped one pretty important Marvel Comics character. Although Mephisto has been mentioned as early as 2012 ‘Avengers,’ ‘Agatha All Along’ directly mentioned the character, sparking hopes that perhaps he will appear in the show.

Fans felt the same during ‘WandaVision’ where Mephisto was somewhat teased indirectly to be the villain only to be disappointed, but with ‘Agatha All Along’ we truly do have a reason to be excited.

Mephisto might not appear in ‘Agatha All Along’ but he will most certainly appear in ‘Ironheart’ a Disney+ series bound for the 2025 release.

‘Ironheart’ is set to focus on Riri Williams, who was described as Tony Stark’s replacement in the MCU, however, her own standalone show is described as a mix of technology, magic, and demons as a young superhero will potentially have to utilize her technical talents to combat supernatural threats.

Mephisto was reported by Deadline to appear in the show 2 years ago, with the same source claiming that he is played by Sacha Baron Cohen. According to reports, Mephisto is set to make his debut in ‘Ironheart,’ which was originally scheduled to premiere before ‘Agatha All Along.’

The fact that Anthony Ramos will be portraying the villain, The Hood, who sold his soul to Mephisto further supports this theory.

According to the original report, Mephisto would appear in Episodes 5 & 6, but the extent of his role and the details are unknown up to this point. The supernatural side of the MCU has never been more exciting, as there are also rumors that the ‘Midnight Sons’ project is in development, which would be connected to Mephisto as well.
