‘Agatha All Along’ episode 3 premiered, and it was a true tribute to “Second Chance at Love” and the first trial that the witches had to pass in order to progress on the Witches Road.

The first trial was related to potion-making in which Jennifer Kale could excel and prove herself to be a welcome addition to the coven.

After the coven enters a strange house on the Witches Road, they drink the wine that appears out of nowhere, and unsurprisingly, it turns out that the wine has been poisoned with Alewife’s Revenge.

Everyone except for the Teen and Agatha drank the wine, although Agatha is ultimately forced to drink it as well. The coven now has a limited time to brew the antidote otherwise they will die.

The coven is slowly catching up with the fact that Teen has been put under the spell, and Agatha admits that she had nothing to do with it, but will inspect this mystery as soon as they hopefully survive the Witches Road.

While in the house, Jennifer Kale approaches the Teen and tells him not to trust Agatha, since she apparently “traded her son in for the book of the damned.” Jennifer admits that she has no idea whether that is true, it’s just the rumors. But it makes sense considering that Nicholas Scratch was confirmed back in episode 1 when Agatha is visiting the kid’s room in her house.

Jennifer also admits that Agatha probably wouldn’t recognize her own son if he walked in through her front door and that her son could be anybody, including Agent of Mephisto.

The second part of the episode focused on the deep fears and traumas of the coven. Each member of the coven was faced with hallucinations related to their past and some traumatic events.

Once again unsurprisingly, Agatha’s hallucination was related to the fact that she truly did sacrifice her child for Darkhold. We could see the book lying in what appears to be a baby’s crib, implying that her son was taken away while he was young and Agatha truly wouldn’t be able to recognize him.

Agatha was also shocked by the scene implying that there’s still something human in that cold, black shriveled heart of hers.

Now, it’s obvious that the show is trying to hint at the fact that Teen is likely Nicholas Scratch and Agatha’s son, but we’re not yet completely sold on that idea it’s likely a massive misdirection.
