‘Agatha All Along’ Just Killed Off a Fan-Favorite MCU Character & Fans Are Mourning

‘Agatha All Along’ episode 3 was recently released, and it brought some revelations and some heartbreaking moments as fans were forced to say their goodbyes to one fan-favorite character.

We’ve learned that Agatha likely sacrificed her son to obtain Darkhold, that Mephisto is currently in the MCU, and that Teen’s identity is likely known to Agatha but she chose to keep it secret for obvious reasons.

As far as the heartbreaking moment of the show, it’s with heavy Hart that the MCU has said goodbye (at least for now) to Debra Jo Rupp’s Sharon Hart. Sharon was introduced back in ‘WandaVision’ as by the end of the show she marries Vision’s boss.

At the start of ‘Agatha All Along’ Sharon is a widow, and a bit lonely, which is why she lets Agatha recruit her into her coven, but Sharon is likely unaware that she is the Green Witch that Agatha needs.

At first, Sharon thought that she was just getting a night in with the ladies, but as soon as she figured out that Witches Road was very real and very supernatural, she started to panic, even going as far as to stray from the path.

Sharon’s first touch with death came at the start of the episode when she was almost devoured by magical quicksand. Then the first trial came and Sharon was excited to finally be doing some fun activities. However, the wine that the coven consumed in the “fancy house” was actually poisoned with Alewife’s Revenge, which can cause delirium, hallucinations, loss of motor function, and ultimately death.

Sharon was the first to be affected by the poison as her face swelled. She was also the first one to lose consciousness. She spent the rest of the episode in some kind of faux coma while the rest of the coven was trying their hardest to make the antidote for the poison and being bombarded by hallucinations related to their pasts.

Jennifer Kale manages to cook up the antidote and Sharon is the last one to be given a dose, she is still in comatose condition at this point, but fans are convinced that she is going to pull through.

After the house where the first trial was taking place flooded, the coven was forced to escape it through the oven. Sharon is carried through the oven and luckily, the entire coven is back on the Witches Road.

Agatha states how lucky they are and at least all of them made it out alive when Teen interjects and says “Not everybody.” The camera then shows one very dead and very stiff body that belongs to Mrs. Hart.

Soon after the episode aired, hashtag #Sharon started trending on X, with fans being devastated that the character was killed off so soon.

The coven now once again lacks a green witch in its lineup, but Mrs. Hart will likely be replaced by Rio Vidal who is also confirmed to be a green witch in the show. This would explain how the promos for the show included Rio on the Witches Road despite her not being present while the ritual was being performed.
