‘Agatha All Along’ May Have Just Introduced One More Member of the Young Avengers

‘Agatha All Along’ premiered with its first two episodes, the audience reactions are excellent while critics are definitely not appreciating the show’s campiness. We’ve already covered several interesting details that appeared in the premiere like the Witches’ Road and Blackheart. It seems however that the first two episodes introduced one character that will be important down the line in the future of the MCU.

The character is connected to Joe Locke’s “Teen.” Locke kept a tight lid on the identity of the character that he is playing, and the show is trying its hardest to hide it as well. However, subtitles revealed ahead of the premier that Teen is named Billy, which led us to conclude that it can be none other but Billy Kaplan aka Wiccan from the comics, and Wanda’s reincarnated son.

I mean, it was obvious that Locke is playing Wiccan considering he is connected to both Wanda and Agatha, is into witchcraft, and gay in the show, and that pretty much describes Wiccan from the comics.

Now in one of the scenes in the show, as Teen is driving his phone lights up with an incoming call, the name on the screen isn’t revealed as the contact is saved under “boyf.”

Fans quickly concluded that Teen’s boyfriend is actually his comic book beau, Hulkling. Hulkling is the son of a Kree warrior and a Skrull princess. His real name is Teddy Altman, and he was born as a hybrid of these two powerful alien races. This heritage grants him a unique combination of abilities from both species.

Wiccan and Hulkling first meet as members of the Young Avengers, if Teen’s boyfriend really turns out to be Hulkling, already a major change compared to comics was made.

Their friendship evolves into a romantic relationship. Their love for each other is a central and defining aspect of their characters, providing both personal and emotional depth. They are one of Marvel’s prominent LGBTQ+ superhero couples.

Fans have long been speculating when Hulkling and Wiccan will debut in the MCU considering their significance for the Young Avengers, and possibly, some future storylines that involve Wanda.
