‘Agatha All Along’ Scores Three Nominations at Indie Spirit Awards

‘Agatha All Along’ was an unexpected MCU hit this year. The show managed to surpass all expectations in terms of quality and it broke several studio records, including the record of the highest viewer retention rate and the record for cheapest studio production.

Marvel exec recently confirmed that the show has been successful, and this will likely translate for a bright future for all characters involved. As Winderbaum stated, they can’t wait to tell more stories from WestView.

The show stars Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, and Joe Locke as Billy Maximoff, her mysterious familiar. Other key characters include Death/Rio Vidal (Aubrey Plaza), Agatha’s former lover and death’s embodiment; Jennifer Kale (Sasheer Zamata), a potion-making witch; Lilia Calderu (Patti LuPone), a wise, ancient seer; and William’s supportive parents and boyfriend, Eddie.

It seems that the artistic community has recognized the quality of the show as it’s been nominated for three awards in total at Indie Spirit Awards. Kathryn Hahn is nominated for Best Lead Performance in a New Scripted Series, Patti LuPone for Best Supporting Performance in a New Scripted Series, and Joe Locke for Best Breakthrough Performance in a New Scripted Series.

Gold Derby also recently predicted that Kathryn Hahn might be nominated in the Best TV Comedy Actress category at the Golden Globes, since the awards season is just starting, hopefully, the show will shine!
