‘Agatha All Along’ is the MCU’s most recent installment. The show follows Agatha Harkness as she manages to escape her magical prison and embarks on a journey through the Witches Road in order to reclaim her powers.

Besides focusing on a little-explored side of the MCU, the show is also notable for introducing Billy Kaplan aka Billy Maximoff aka Wiccan, reincarnated son of Scarlet Witch.

Episode 5 revealed that “the Teen” really is Wanda’s son, and episode 6 revealed that he sought Agatha and wanted to walk the Witches Road for the purpose of finding his brother Tommy, who disintegrated at the same time when Wanda made peace with the grief.

In episode 7, Agatha couldn’t give Billy a straight answer on whether Wanda is alive or not alternative between yes, no, and maybe…you know what that means – Wanda will be back.

For several months now, it’s been rumored that MCU is developing a project focusing on the Children’s Crusade storyline.

In ‘The Children’s Crusade,’ the Young Avengers (most importantly Wiccan) embark on a quest to find and confront the Scarlet Witch. The Scarlet Witch caused a catastrophe with reality-warping abilities, and her actions in the ‘Avengers Disassembled’ and ‘House of M’ storylines had significant consequences for the Marvel Universe.

I’m sure that ‘House of M’ and ‘Avengers Disassembled’ can be swapped for the multiversal theme. Young Avengers are already a thing in the MCU – with Kamala Khan starting the initiative and several members already identified.

It would be a shame for the rumored ‘Young Avengers’ project not to at least touch upon the matter of Wiccan’s and Speed’s problem with their dead mother.

In this context, ‘The Children’s Crusade’ might merely touch upon the fact that the Scarlet Witch needs to be resurrected in order to help fight Doom, or some other big threat. We know that Billy is looking for his brother, and we know that the upcoming ‘Vision’ show will mark the return of White Vision – who is to say that Billy won’t eventually start looking for his mother as well, with the help of ‘Young Avengers.

‘The Children’s Crusade’ ties nicely with the introduction of Doom as well. In the story, Doom helps Wanda regain her memories and powers, and there’s a moment where it’s implied that Doom has a manipulative interest in her.

At one point, it is revealed that Wanda and Doom were working together, with Doom claiming to have romantic feelings for her. However, this was more about Doom’s personal ambitions and his desire for power than a genuine, healthy romantic connection.

They form a brief alliance, and Doom uses Wanda’s powers in his bid to gain control of immense magical energy. This results in disastrous consequences, as Doom’s quest for power leads to more chaos.
