‘Agatha All Along’ Showrunner Addresses MCU’s Young Avengers Project

Following Billy Maximoff’s MCU debut, ‘Agatha All Along’ showrunner Jac Schaeffer addressed what we can expect from the series finale and whether there’s a chance Young Avengers are set in any way.

Having spent some time with the MCU, Schaeffer mentioned she doesn’t have a specific plan for handling the Young Avengers. However, she emphasized that she’s a big fan of the team, saying:

I don’t have anything for that, but I love those characters, and really, I love the actors. I just think if Young Avengers were to happen like, man, that is a murderer’s row. It would be great.

Schaeffer might not have a plan for Young Avengers right now, but that doesn’t mean she couldn’t develop one later. From her comments, it seems likely she’d be open to working on the Young Avengers characters if she got the chance – and considering the hype behind Wiccan’s debut, there’s a pretty good chance we’ll see the team sooner rather than later.

The only “Wanda-related” project confirmed so far is ‘Vision Quest’, set to begin filming next year and probably coming in 2026. It’s going to serve as the third installment in the trilogy (‘WandaVision,’ ‘Agatha All Along’).

Furthermore, Wanda is rumored to take the center of the MCU with her own movie, more character-related series, and appearances in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars.’

Although the Young Avengers project is not officially confirmed, with Ms. Marvel, Kate, America Chavez, Scott’s daughter, Billy (maybe Tommy soon), Marvel is clearly setting up the ground for the team to appear soon!

The only “big” tease we got so far was when Ms. Marvel visited Kate Bishop at the end of ‘The Marvels,’ but who knows, maybe we will get another hint in next week’s ‘Agatha All Along’ finale!
