‘Agatha All Along’ is MCU’s most recent installment. Due to its unique themes, no one expected it to be as popular as it currently is or to amass a solid viewership. According to the first numbers by Luminate, ‘Agatha All Along’ hit 9.3 million views on Disney+ in its first seven days of streaming.

The data is not entirely accurate but it’s a pretty good indicator of the popularity of the show overall. The numbers were also far lower than those of ‘The Acolyte,’ and the show has steadily been losing viewers since its debut.

But, not everything is bad, Nielsen finally released the numbers for Sep. 16 – Sep. 22, 2024, and surprisingly, ‘Agatha All Along’ managed to score a placement on the “top 10 originals” list.

‘Agatha All Along’ achieved 426 million minutes watched over the course of the week, and managed to score in 8th place being surpassed by ‘Tulsa King’ with slightly more minutes.

One notable absence from the list was ‘The Penguin’ a show following Oswald Cobb following the event of ‘The Batman: Part I.’

The first numbers showed that the show attracted 1.4 million U.S. viewers across all platforms on its September 19 debut.

Viewership for ‘The Penguin’ is also on the rise, with Episode 4 attracting 1.7 million cross-platform viewers on Max and HBO in the U.S., according to Warner Bros. Discovery data. This represents a 21.43% increase from the series premiere, which had 1.4 million viewers and is also an increase from Episode 2, which drew 1.6 million viewers.

However, based on these Nielsen data, it would seem that ‘Agatha All Along’ is more popular than ‘The Penguin.’ The explanation is likely simple. It’s possible that ‘The Penguin’ did not make the cut since the show released only one episode. It’s possible that due to the rising figures, we’re going to see the show in the next chart.
