Agatha Just Confirmed To Us That She Sort of Knows Who the Teen Is

The latest episode of ‘Agatha All Along’ saw the coven undergoing their first trial on the Witches Road. The coven found itself in a fancy house, being tempted by, according to Agatha’s own words, cheap wine.

Soon after figuring out that the wine in itself was the trial, each member of the coven took a sip of the wine. Agatha however managed to evade the first tasting, since she was suspicious of it in the first place, and naturally, Teen was able to avoid tasting the wine due to being underage, and not really a part of the coven.

It wasn’t long before the coven realized that the wine was poisoned with Alewife’s Revenge, a potion that causes delirium, hallucinations, loss of motor functions, and ultimately death.

The first trial was clear, Jennifer Kale the potionmaker in the coven was supposed to create the antidote with the help of her coven true. However, solving the first puzzle proved difficult due to Agatha not playing along with the rest of the group.

When the coven realized that Agatha did not taste the wine and was not poisoned, they knew that the second part of the trial wouldn’t unlock and they wouldn’t be able to locate the ingredients for the antidote.

Agatha at first resisted tasting the wine until Teen grabbed her glass and claimed that he would drink it himself. Knowing that the wine was poisoned and that they might as well fail the first trial and die a horrible death Agatha took the glass out of his hands and drank the wine – poisoning herself instead.

If you think that this was unselfish on Agatha’s part and the first good deed she ever did, you would be wrong, Agatha hated seeing Teen drinking the wine since he is most likely her son.

The show has been leading us to believe that Scarlet Witch was Teen’s mother, but some significant hints in the show so far led us down a different rabbit hole.

Agatha lost a son, or to be more precise she sacrificed him for Darkhold, this is something that Jennifer Kale confirmed in episode 3. Jennifer also stated that Agatha wouldn’t be able to recognize her son, implying that a lot of years have passed since then and Agatha likely gave up on the baby while he was still small.

There’s also the fact that Agatha seems to be oddly uninterested in the sigil that Teen has cast on him, it’s likely that she already knows his identity and has a suspicion about who might have bound him.

Even if she doesn’t know for sure, the fact that she took the poisoned wine out of his hands proves that she is at least to some extent taking the possibility into account.
