Latest Episode of ‘Agatha All Along’ Confirms Agatha’s Irredeemably Evil Nature

Episode 5 of ‘Agatha All Along’ dropped yesterday. The episode confirmed that Teen is in fact Wiccan aka Billy Kaplan, but it also confirmed that Agatha is evil beyond redemption. At the start of the show, seeing Agatha interact with the Teen and Rio Vidal, fans were hoping that she might be in for some “Loki-style” redemption. Episode 5 dashed those hopes.

The latest episode sees the coven facing the Trial of Spirits – Agatha’s domain. The first spirit that they come in contact with belongs to Evanora Harkness – Agatha’s mother and leader of Salemites.

In order for the coven to pass the trial, Agatha’s mother claims that they need to leave Agatha with her – to punish her. In part for all the crimes that she has committed in her search for power over the course of her unnaturally long life.

Agatha cannot believe that after all these years her own mother hates her so much. Evanora then drives the point home claiming that she should have killed her at birth, as Agatha was presumably “born evil.”

Evanora possesses Agatha and attempts to attack the group for the second time. This time, Alice Wu attacks Agatha with her fire magic in order to help her fight her mother’s influence.

Agatha uses that opportunity to drain Alice of her magic and life force, leaving her a broken, dead husk of a human being. Alice is dead, and there’s really no helping her.

The Teen is furious and confronts Agatha about what just took place. Agatha doubles down on the fact that she just killed her coven member claiming that everyone wants power, including Teen.

This is when Teen lost it and pushed Agatha along with Lilia Calderu and Jennifer Kale into what appears to be some kind of a magic quicksand. Their fates in the MCU are currently unknown.

Agatha at first claimed that she drained Alice by accident, that she couldn’t stop. But the rest of the coven claims that she is lying. However some things from Agatha’s past further support the theory that she will do anything for power.

Starting with the fact that she might have sacrificed her son to Mephisto in order to obtain Darkhold. You also know what transpired in ‘WandaVision,’ and one coven member (Mrs. Hart) is already dead due to Agatha’s ambitions.

It’s likely that Agatha treats her coven as canon fodder, as eventually, she would sacrifice every single one of them to reclaim her true power.
