The edition also includes a reprint of a famous story called “This Man . . . This Monster!” which was first published in ‘Fantastic Four #51’ in June 1966.
In an interview, Ross explained that he uses a realistic art style to help people see the characters in a fresh way. He believes that the original designs by Jack Kirby were great and just need careful updates to look even better. Ross, who grew up loving Kirby’s work, aims to honor Kirby’s style in his own artwork.
