All Insane ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Rumored Cameos That Turned Out To Be True

Share:

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ was internationally released, and I gotta admit it is a solid movie. It managed to cram as many references to past X-Men movies as possible without it being the main thing. Speaking of references, we know that over 20 characters were either rumored or confirmed to appear in the movie and boy did that list of rumors deliver.

Months, years, before the movie’s release we’ve heard some truly insane things regarding who might show up. Some things turned out to be true, and some did not, fortunately for us, the most insane rumors did deliver, and in quite an epic way. The following list will contain only RUMORED cameos that were never officially confirmed, since many past X-Men characters were revealed through set images, set leaks, and interviews, it’s not going to include Toad, Pyro, Elektra, and the likes. Oh and before we continue, if you want to avoid spoilers STOP READING NOW!

Blake Lively as Lady Deadpool

For months, the question of who was playing Lady Deadpool was between Blake Lively and Taylor Swift, until Swift was confirmed not to appear in the movie at all. Then it was between Lively and Reynolds himself. We never actually see Lively take off her mask in the movie, but she is credited in the role in the credits. Also, the voice.

Henry Cavill as Wolverine

This one was semi-confirmed, you just did not trust our sources. Cavill was rumored to appear in the movie months ago, and ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ delivered. Cavill is presented as a badass bike-riding Wolverine variant and Deadpool even references the horrible treatment he has received under DC Studios.

Channing Tatum as Gambit

Channing Tatum teased his involvement with the movie through social media, and once again number of fans did not buy it. Tatum appears in the Void hiding with “The Others” and has a decent-sized role in the movie. What’s with the accent though? This cameo proved that he was born to play the role!

Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15

Hunter B-15 was also rumored to appear months ago, as fans first assumed it was going to be Mobius as the TVA cameo. She doesn’t have a big role in the movie but is right there at the end to neatly wrap things, and also to provide Deadpool a perfect opportunity to reference the ‘Loki’ show.

Chris Evans as Human Torch

I gotta admit, this was the craziest rumor that I’ve heard and I maybe 20% believe it myself, so when I heard Evans’ voice I was shocked. I was even more shocked to see that he had a decent-sized role in the movie (and the post-credit scene).

Wesley Snipes as Blade

This cameo was the best, and the one I least believed, especially when Snipes himself joked about it online. It was epic seeing him in the role again, and it was majestic to see that he still has it! I’m starting to be sold on the idea of him taking Ali’s place in the mainline MCU!
