All the Hints From Episode 7 Have Already Revealed the Second Sith in ‘The Acolyte’

Following the reveal of Qimir as The Stranger in ‘The Acolyte’, Leslye Headland sort of teased that there is one more Sith in the show, and we can only assume we will find out the identity of that second Sith tomorrow when the final episode is released.

Now plenty of theories have been thrown around that Master Sol is actually a Sith Lord, or that the show will introduce Darth Tenebrous. Unfortunately, if Episode 7 is anything to go on, the matter is far less complicated than that.

If you are among the fans who suspect that Mother Koril is a mysterious Sith Lord, I have to agree with you since the show so far, and especially the latest episode dropped some pretty massive hints.

Let’s take a moment to take into account who oppose the Jedi the most in Episode 3 and Episode 7. It was Mother Koril, she was antagonistic from the start, and quite frankly she contributed the most toward the tension between Witches of Brendok and the visiting Jedi.

There’s also the fact that Mother Koril was advocating for a tougher approach when it comes to raising the twins. She extremely opposed twins being tested, especially Osha leaving the coven.

She also sent Mae to stop Osha from leaving by any means necessary and contributed to Mae setting Osha’s room on fire, meaning that she indirectly led her whole coven to be wiped out. That’s bound to grow some pretty dark emotions within a person.

Mother Koril is also the only witch to survive the onslaught, as she managed to transform into a shadowy Force Spirit form and escape.

The biggest clue however is the fact that she is among the rare individuals that understands what exactly the twins Osha and Mae are. You see, Lesyle Headland explained that Osha and Mae are sort of prototypes of the chosen one, aka they are the earlier version of Anakin, but far weaker. This is because Aniseya’s power split in two while she was creating them, she was not powerful enough to sustain the creation of one person only.

Force Vergence did the rest, and the twins were created. They are at their most powerful when they are together which is what “The Power of Two” is actually about, and in many ways, Aniseya’s and Koril’s whole philosophy revolved around keeping the girls together, which would explain why Koril was so opposed to either of them leaving with the Jedi.

The problem is that Qimir also seemingly understands what the Power of Two is, and the only way he could have guessed that such a thing exists and that Osha and Mae have it is if someone told him. Perhaps the best source of that information would be someone who is intimately familiar with the creation of the girls. Mother Aniseya used her powers to create the girls, but it was Mother Koril that gave birth to them.

It’s likely that the reveal of the second Sith won’t be a reveal at all, it’s just going to be confirmation of something that we suspected all along, that one of the twins’ mothers is in fact, the Master. And Qimir is desperately searching for “The Power of Two” and his Acolyte in order to kill her off.
