Marvel is celebrating Amadeus Cho’s 20th anniversary this May with a new one-shot comic, Amadeus Cho 20th Anniversary Special #1. The comic brings back the character’s creators, Greg Pak and Takeshi Miyazawa, along with artists Creees Lee and Jethro Morales.
The special issue will take readers on a journey with Amadeus, Hercules, and the Renegades just before the events of World War Hulk. We’ll get to see hidden secrets and explore new emotional moments for Amadeus as he faces a major new threat.
The story will also dive into his transformation from Brawn to Totally Awesome Hulk. Fans will see key moments from his past and get a look at what’s next for the character.
The comic marks an important milestone since Amadeus first appeared in Amazing Fantasy #15 in 2005. Over the years, he’s become a key figure in the Marvel Universe, from being a Champion to an Agent of Atlas, and even a Hulk. Pak and Miyazawa’s reunion is a big deal, as they brought this character to life and will explore where he goes next.
Pak shared his excitement about the anniversary, saying, ‘I’m a little stunned that Amadeus Cho has been around 20 years now and absolutely thrilled that we’re celebrating with this big one-shot.’ Miyazawa echoed the sentiment, calling it an honor to return to Amadeus after all these years.
The Amadeus Cho 20th Anniversary Special #1 hits stores on May 7, so make sure you don’t miss out!
