Amy Schumer Faces Friendship and “Parenthood” in ‘Kinda Pregnant,’ Premiering February 5

Get ready for a fun and heartwarming comedy when ‘Kinda Pregnant’ hits Netflix on February 5, 2025. The film, directed by Tyler Spindel and written by Julie Paiva and Amy Schumer, stars Schumer alongside Jillian Bell, Brianne Howey, and Will Forte.

In this story, Schumer plays Lainy, a woman who becomes jealous when her best friend gets pregnant. In an attempt to cope, Lainy starts wearing a fake belly, but things take an unexpected turn when she meets the man of her dreams.

The film’s cast also includes Damon Wayans Jr., Chris Geere, Alex Moffat, Joel David Moore, Lizze Broadway, Urzila Carlson, and Francis Benhamou.

New footage has just been released, offering a glimpse of the laughs and chaos Lainy faces in her hilarious journey.

Production for Kinda Pregnant began in Brooklyn, New York, in early 2024, with principal photography wrapping up in March. The film is produced by Amy Schumer and Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison Productions, along with other producers like Tim Herlihy and Molly Sims.
