Rumors Suggest Andrew Garfield Is Set for a Major Comeback in Upcoming ‘Spider-Man’ Films

Due to Sony, not Marvel Studios, owning the character’s rights, Spider-Man’s story is the most complex among all MCU superheroes. The original Spider-Man films were entirely separate from the main MCU, but when Tom Holland was cast, Sony and Marvel joined forces to produce three movies featuring the young star.

The third film, Spider-Man: No Way Home, marked the return of both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man. It brought all three web-slingers together in a multiverse storyline that also includes several familiar adversaries from past Spider-Man films.

Since then, fans have been eagerly speculating about the future of the two “classic” Spider-Men, particularly Andrew Garfield. As many believe deserves proper closure for his Spider-Man narrative.
