‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ Could Secretly Be an Avengers vs. X-Men Movie

The Mutants are coming to the MCU — a fact we’ve known since Disney acquired Fox. While you might argue that some mutants have already appeared in the MCU, the X-Men themselves have not, and their full debut is still on the horizon. We’ve been promised that when they do arrive, it will be a significant moment.

While there are no specific details yet, there is a compelling theory about the plot of ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ that might be connected to the X-Men’s debut in the MCU.

We know that ‘Secret Wars’ is set to be a major multiversal event and will wrap up the storyline involving Doctor Doom. With the Mutants already established in the MCU, this could be the perfect opportunity to bring them into the main narrative. A multiversal movie would allow the X-Men to seamlessly enter the MCU, much like the Spider-Men came together in ‘No Way Home’ or the cameos in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’.
