Beau DeMayo Drops Explosive Video Revealing His Marvel Exit After Rob Liefeld’s Shocking Departure From Marvel: “They tried to erase aspects of my personality”

Beau DeMayo is a name we haven’t heard much about in recent months. Initially hailed as one of the most promising writers at Marvel Studios, thanks to the successful launch of the critically acclaimed ‘X-Men ’97,’ DeMayo was unexpectedly fired by the studio even before the first season premiered.

At first, the reason for his sudden dismissal was unclear, but DeMayo later provoked the studio into releasing a statement revealing that he was fired due to alleged sexual misconduct. The studio’s internal investigation uncovered troubling behavior, leading to their swift and severe action.

Since then, DeMayo has continued to criticize Marvel for racism and homophobia on his OnlyFans account and has even toyed with filing a lawsuit against the company.

Now just a few days after Liefeld’s shocking departure from Marvel, DeMayo decided to release a video that was previously behind paywall and shed some light on the treatment he suffered on Marvel Studios.

Beau DeMayo explained that the accusations and issues Marvel and others have shared are meant to distract from the real reason he left. According to him, the real issue was that he stood up and spoke the truth, which upset powerful people. He said Marvel wanted him to just be a “stamp of approval” for the project because of his identity, but he refused.

Additionally, he claimed they tried to remove parts of his personality that didn’t fit the narratives they wanted to promote, but he refused to let that happen.

The offenses Marvel and others have leaked are designed to distract you from what really offended them. That someone like me dared to speak truth to people like them. They wanted me to be the Black stamp of approval on this project, I declined. They tried to erase aspects of my personality that clashed or proved inconvenient with the misguided narratives they wanted to establish, I declined.

Beau DeMayo said that Marvel tried to intimidate him with both direct and indirect threats, but he wasn’t scared. He believes their actions since then have been meant to silence him, discredit him, and remind him of his place. He also mentioned that he has evidence and names that could expose what happened, and it’s tempting for him to share everything online.

They tried to intimidate me with explicit and implied threats, I was not intimidated. Everything they have done since then has been designed not just to silence me and smear me, but to crush me, and to remind me to know my role. So what’s next then? Honestly, it is so tempting to just drop all the names and receipts that I have online.
