Beau Demayo Left Without Invitation to the Emmy’s for the Show He Created: “I created and produced It”

Now that X-Men ’97 has been nominated for a Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program, DeMayo has expressed a desire to attend the ceremony as the series’ original creator and showrunner, still credited as a writer on most episodes. He has reached out to Disney for an invitation, but recent Twitter posts indicate that his chances of attending are looking slim.
