Beau DeMayo Throws Shade at Disney Following Shocking Wrongful Death Lawsuit

Just weeks ahead of the ‘X-Men ’97’ premiere, the public was notified that Beau DeMayo, the mind behind the show had been fired by the company. His company email was deactivated without prior notice. The studio refused to comment on the reasons behind the firing and his representatives have stayed silent on the matter as well. DeMayo nuked his social media at the time and didn’t comment on the reasons behind this shocking decision.

The writer did not comment on the fact that he was fired and took the whole thing with grace, until….recently. Yesterday we reported on the fact that Beau DeMayo still hasn’t been contacted by Disney in regards to his Emmy Awards nomination. The writer argues that he was the most important team member and almost singlehandedly produced and wrote the show.

Now if you’re wondering what wrongful death has to do with anything, well be prepared to be absolutely disgusted by Disney corporation.

Jeffrey Piccolo is suing Walt Disney Parks and Resorts for the wrongful death of his wife, Kanokporn Tangsuan, who died from a severe allergic reaction after dining at Raglan Road Irish Pub in Disney Springs. Disney is attempting to have the lawsuit dismissed and moved to arbitration, arguing that Piccolo agreed to arbitration when he signed up for a Disney+ trial in 2019.

Disney’s legal team also claims that Piccolo’s purchase of Epcot Center tickets through their website shields them from the lawsuit. Piccolo’s lawyer called Disney’s argument “preposterous” and contends that it is unfair to deny a jury trial based on a Disney+ subscription. Disney responded by stating that the restaurant is not owned or operated by them, and they are simply defending against being included in the lawsuit. Piccolo is seeking damages under Florida’s Wrongful Death Act, including compensation for mental pain, loss of companionship, and other expenses.

If you’ve had trouble understanding what Disney argued in court…well, they argued that since Piccolo was Disney+ subscriber, he agreed to Disney+ TOS which states that all issues go through third-party arbitration and that no lawsuits are possible. especially jury trials which tend to side against corporations.

In any case, Beau DeMayo used the opportunity to throw some shade at his former employer and plenty of other fans joined in:

I have to agree with the last commenter, this is absolutely ghoulish. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below!
