Ben Grimm Faces Off Against a Sea Creature in New ‘The Thing’ Solo Series

Marvel Comics is gearing up for an exciting new series starring one of its most beloved heroes, Ben Grimm. This solo adventure, titled The Thing, kicks off this May with a five-issue limited series written by Tony Fleecs and illustrated by Justin Mason. Fans can expect an action-packed ride as The Thing battles some of Marvel’s most dangerous villains in a quest that takes him on a personal journey through his past.

Originally set to release in March, the series was delayed but is now back on track, and the first issue will hit stores on May 21st. Marvel has released a sneak peek of the issue, along with a look at the covers, and it promises to be an exciting start to the saga

This new series focuses on Ben Grimm stepping away from his usual role with the Fantastic Four to deal with a criminal conspiracy linked to his childhood in Yancy Street.

The adventure takes him deep into New York City, where he will face off against some of Marvel’s most notorious villains, including the deadly Bullseye and the nearly unstoppable Juggernaut.
