Dr. Strange is at this point one of the most notable characters in the MCU and one of the most important. Despite his origin story being a bit more humble than today’s releases, he managed to perform strong and will be a huge part of the MCU going forward.
Or…so we thought. Following the release of ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ we were ushered in full steam ahead into the multiverse saga of the MCU, and we thought that Doctor Strange would be one of the most vital characters, but it seems that it isn’t as clear cut as we thought.
Marvel currently has over 30 projects either in development or in production, and we covered most of them, through rumors and various reports. Next to nothing is however known about ‘Doctor Strange 3.’ In his recent interview with The Playlist, Cumberbatch, the main star of the franchise revealed that he knows as little as we do. When asked about potential plans for ‘Doctor Strange 3′ he answered: “Who Knows.’
Surely, if this installment isn’t on the horizon, The Sorcerer Supreme has to appear in the next movie ‘Avengers 5’ but as it turns out he’s not privy to these details either.
We will see. We will find out. “I’m not sure where he’s been and what he’s been up to and who with, but yeah, I know as little as you.
‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ received mixed reviews. Critics lauded Sam Raimi’s distinctive style and creative action sequences but criticized the film for a convoluted plot and shallow character development. While Raimi’s horror elements were a standout, the movie was seen as overly reliant on CGI and lacking in narrative depth. Despite some engaging moments, it was perceived as falling short of its potential within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
