MCU is expanding rapidly with numerous projects either in development or scheduled to be released in the next two years. As such, we can expect an influx of new actors and characters.

Now if the latest rumors are true, Billie Eilish might be one of them. The rumor was brought to light by Daniel Richtman, a notable industry insider with a somewhat accurate track record.

According to Richtman who frequently posts rumors on his Patreon account Marvel Studios is interested in the singer when it comes to some big role in the MCU.

Although Eilish is most frequently associated with the music industry, in 2023, the singer made her acting debut in the Amazon Prime Video series ‘Swarm,’ where she played Eva, the leader of a cult inspired by NXIVM. Her performance received positive reviews.

She has appeared in various film and television projects, including documentaries like ‘Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry’ and ‘Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert,’ as well as concert films such as ‘Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles.’ In television, she has made multiple appearances on ‘Saturday Night Live,’ and voiced a character in ‘When Billie Met Lisa.’

As far as the potential role for Eilish goes, it’s difficult to speculate but due to the current development phase, it’s possible that the studio is eyeing Eilish for the role in the upcoming ‘X-Men’ reboot. The actress is frequently being fan-cast as Rogue, although if you check out social media the reactions to this “news” weren’t all that positive.

Pretty much all notable live-action projects we expect to release in the next year are all nearing their production end, and the casts are “locked in” so to speak.
