Bokeem Woodbine Teases Shocker’s Potential Return in ‘Spider-Man 4’

The MCU’s Spider-Man films proved to be a proper success. Not only did they properly expand the MCU, they also launched Tom Holland into stardom, turning him and Spider-Man into two of the most importan parts of the MCU’s ever-expanding lore.
Now, while Spider-Man is the heart and soul of the trilogy-soon-to-be-tetralogy, other actors and actresses have left their mark on the series and one of them is Bokeem Woodbine, who had a brief appearance as the villain Shocker in Homecoming. Now, Woodbine teases a potential return to the series.
In a recent interview, Woodbine discussed the possibility of returning to the franchise, and based on his words, fans do have something to look forward to. When asked ‘Where is the Shocker? Where did you go?,’ Woodbine gave a very optimistic answer: That’s a very good question. I’m wondering the same. But I get a feeling it might not be the last time you see the Shocker.
And while this is not a confirmation, it is definitely a proper tease and if you’ve liked Shocker’s appearance in Homecoming, you might be in for more in the upcoming film.
Of course, another important question is the character’s original suit. Woodbine had a very different appearance in the first movie so it is only natural to wonder whether we can expect to see the original suit.
‘We discussed it. It wasn’t right or appropriate for that first one,’ Woodbine said. ‘But who knows, down the line, [we can get] a little bit closer to the original suit. We never wanted to cover his face because I asked that specifically. And they were like, ‘No, you act with your face. So we want to be able to see you.‘
