Brian Tee Hints at the Comeback of a Mysterious Rogue Sith

Exciting news for Star Wars fans—one of the most mysterious Sith Lords may be making a comeback. Brian Tee, the voice behind the Ronin in Star Wars: Visions, has hinted that his character could return soon.

The Ronin was first introduced in the Visions season 1 episode The Duel. Unlike most Sith, the Ronin is a lone warrior who hunts other dark side users rather than following the Sith Order.

His story continued in the 2021 novel Star Wars: Ronin by Emma Mieko Candon, expanding his background and giving fans even more to love about this mysterious character.

Now, it looks like the Ronin’s journey isn’t over. On the red carpet at the Independent Spirit Awards, Tee shared a cryptic but exciting update. When asked if he would return as the Ronin, he responded:

“Oh, absolutely no question. And I think, you know, I don’t want to give any spoilers, but we are definitely in the works right now, [I’m] probably doing something in the near and distant future, and I’ll probably stop there before I go any further.”

This strongly suggests that the Ronin will be back in some form, possibly in Star Wars: Visions season 3. Adding to the speculation, Kamikaze Douga—the animation studio behind The Duel—has been confirmed to return for the upcoming season. Since they created the Ronin’s original story, they could be working on a follow-up.
