‘Captain America: Brave New World’ Easter Eggs You Missed in Trailer

Share:

‘Captain America: Brave New World’ recently released its first trailer. It stirred quite the controversy with the inclusion of Sabra, Red Hulk’s CGI, and with the fact that Sam Wilson has taken over the mantle of Captain America within the MCU.

The teaser trailer was quite short, but it still managed to pack quite a few easter eggs in its short runtime, if you’ve missed some, don’t worry, we have you covered!

The elephant in the room – Celestial

Celestial Tiamut was frozen in the ocean during the events of ‘Eternals’ and the fact that it was never addressed in the MCU again was often mocked. Now ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ will seemingly have it as an important plot point as the Celestial can be seen in the trailer briefly in a couple of scenes.

Even before the trailer was released, some rumors came forward claiming that several nations on Earth would be fighting over Tiamut’s resources and over control of the Celestial “corpse.”

The Leader

In the trailer, at the 1:04 mark, we catch our first look at The Leader, as Time Blake Nelson is confirmed to reprise his role, continuing a storyline teased in ‘The Incredible Hulk’ from the early days of the MCU. Identified by his green skin and confirmed by subtitles naming him Samuel Sterns, this marks The Leader’s long-awaited debut on the big screen.

Lack of superpowers

If you take a good look at our screenshot from the Celestial easter egg, you can clearly see that Sam Wilson has a new suit. His helmet resembles Ant-Man’s quantum technology and implies that Sam Wilson will have “super-suits” to offset his lack of super-soldier serum and provide him with more juice while he is fighting superpowered threats much stronger than him.

New Falcon

Captain America always needs to have his Falcon, and considering that former Falcon has assumed the mantle of Captain America, Joaquin Torres is ready to take on the mantle. One brief scene in the trailer showcases both of them flying.
