‘Captain America: Brave New World’ Ending and Post-Credits Scene Reportedly Set Up Major ‘World War Hulks’ Project

Rumors about a ‘World War Hulk’ movie have persisted for years without resolution. Recently, Mark Ruffalo revealed that Marvel Studios never intended to produce a solo film for him, primarily due to complex rights issues stemming from a long-standing dispute with Universal.

The fact that Hulk can’t get a solo movie however doesn’t mean that character won’t continue to evolve in other MCU projects.

Daniel Richtman, a notable industry insider recently claimed that the ending and the post-credits scenes for ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is setting up ‘World War Hulk’ and connects more to the Multiverse Saga.

Apparently, the connections to both World War Hulk and Multiverse were added through extensive reshoots as the original movie really didn’t do all that well with the test audiences.

So, what are the arguments that support this? We have nothing to go except for rumors as nothing has been officially confirmed. Recently, the entire plot of ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ apparently leaked online and one surprising addition to the movie is Amadeus Cho played by Logan Kim.

Amadeus Cho would be the MCU’s fourth Hulk alongside Bruce Banner, She-Hulk and Thaddeus Ross’ Red Hulk. There’s also the issue of adamantium and other world superpowers vying for the powers that it can provide.

Several months ago, we covered an interesting theory developed by Cosmic Circus’ Alex Perez.

According to Alex Perez, the studio has been setting up the so-called “World War” storyline. This storyline has been established through various projects, including ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home,’ ‘WandaVision,’ ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,’ ‘Black Widow,’ ‘Eternals,’ ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home,’ ‘Ms. Marvel,’ ‘She-Hulk: Attorney At Law,’ ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,’ and ‘Secret Invasion.’

This storyline, which has been brewing in the background, revolves around the world’s apprehension over the increasing number of superheroes since the events of ‘Endgame.’ With no active Avengers, nations are racing to develop their own superhuman soldiers or teams for defense against various threats.

Examples of this tension include France’s covert attempt to obtain vibranium from Wakanda, the United States’ clandestine efforts, and the Department of Damage Control handling superhuman incidents.

This story will climax in projects like ‘Captain America: Brave New World,’ where countries pursue their superhuman agendas, leading to the creation of Hulks by governments worldwide.

Marvel Studios is laying the groundwork for a World War Hulk storyline, where Bruce Banner faces his worst fears as governments create their own Hulks. This conflict could bring about the return of the Savage Hulk, culminating in a showdown between Banner and another Hulk, presumably to be introduced.

We can’t confirm the legitimacy of these rumors, as Marvel is notably tight-lipped regarding all information related to their future projects, all we can do is wait. Have something to add? Let us know in the comments below!
