Hayley Atwell’s Captain Carter appeared in plenty of Marvel-based projects. She played the role of alternative Captain America most recently in ‘What If…?’ Season 2 and most of the episodes featured her to some extent. She also appeared in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ as an Avenger and a founding member of the Illuminati. In 2018, she fought in the Infinity War and helped defeat Thanos in the Battle of Titan. Later, she voted to execute Doctor Strange due to his use of the Darkhold, which led to a multiversal incursion.

Captain Carter also had her own show in pre-Disney+ days titled ‘Agent Carter’ which was pretty successful with the fans. Now in the most recent Q&A, Alex Perez confirmed that Captain Carter will still be a massive part of the Marvel Multiverse, as she will appear again in ‘What If…?’ Season 3 and apparently will play a role in ‘Secret Wars’ – upcoming Avengers project.

Captain Carter will be back in What If…? season 3, and will also be one of the characters in play for Secret Wars.

Several days ago reports pointed in the direction of ‘Agent Carter’ being added to the MCU timeline which would effectively render the project canon. The change is so far visible only on the Brazilian Disney+ pages so if you’re accessing the timeline from the US only one-shots are visible currently. Honestly, it’s not surprising if ‘Agent Carter ultimately ends up being canon since it’s the show that Feige has worked on and a show that always had his blessing.

Hayley Elizabeth Atwell portrayed Peggy Carter in various Marvel productions, including ‘Captain America: The First Avenger,’ ‘Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter,’ ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier,’ ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ episodes ‘Shadows’ and ‘The Things We Bury,’ ‘Agent Carter,’ ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron,’ and ‘Ant-Man,’ so it’s not surprising that she will return to reprise her role yet again, either voicing or playing the character.
