Carnage’s Appearance in Venom 3 Trailer Hints at Stronger Rumored Connection to MCU and ‘Spider-Man 4’

A few days ago the trailer for ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ was released and fans were surprised to see the first look at Knull the King in Black. It seems that ‘Venom 3’ will be the spectacular finale for Eddie and Venom as the installment was confirmed to be the last in the franchise.

However, this might not necessarily be the end of Venom as we know it as rumors increasingly point in the direction of the movie being connected to the MCU and the upcoming ‘Spider-Man 4’ movie.

Recently, we covered rumors that ‘Venom 3’ might be connected to ‘Spider-Man 4’ via post-credits scenes. The main argument for that is the fact that Hardy has been present at the New York reshoots while none of the scenes in the trailers are from New York. This means that the New York scenes in the movie are closely guarded and have extreme spoilers.

Then there’s also the fact that Carnage has been spotted in the latest trailer for ‘Venom 3’:

The Hive Mind represents the shared knowledge and experiences of all symbiotes across the universe. It allows individual symbiotes to tap into the collective memories and skills of their kind, regardless of their current host.

Even though Carnage died in ‘Let There Be Carnage’ his resurrection is not impossible, in large part thanks to the aforementioned concept of the hive mind. The running theory is that Eddie will likely die in his showdown against Knull but Venom will be able to transfer his consciousness and memory via the hive-mind to the MCU, with Carnage likely following him.

Holland also recently visited Amy Pascal’s office and later shared a photo from a “secret shoot day,” which further strengthens the theory that ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ and ‘Spider-Man 4’ might be connected.

At this point, nothing has been confirmed, but a lot of rumors claim that Knull won’t be “one and done” in ‘Venom 3’ and that the famous villain will be utilized in the upcoming ‘Spider-Man’ flick.
