Check out a New Look At Robert Pattinson in Bong Joon Ho’s ‘MICKEY 17′
The highly anticipated sci-fi movie Mickey 17, directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Bong Joon-ho, is set to hit theaters on March 7th in the US. Starring Robert Pattinson in the lead role, the film is based on Edward Ashton’s 2022 novel Mickey7. Fans recently got an exciting look at the movie with the release of a brand-new exclusive clip.
Mickey 17 follows the journey of Mickey Barnes, a desperate man who leaves Earth to become an “expendable” worker on a distant colony called Niflheim. His job involves performing deadly tasks, knowing that each time he dies, a new clone of him is created to take his place. However, when Mickey 17 is mistakenly believed to be dead and a replacement clone, Mickey 18, is activated, chaos unfolds.
According to the colony’s rules, only one version of an expendable can exist at a time. Now, both versions of Mickey must find a way to survive against the harsh rules of their leaders.
The film features a star-studded cast, including Naomi Ackie as Mickey’s love interest, Steven Yeun as his ally, and Mark Ruffalo as a ruthless politician. Toni Collette plays his scheming wife, with Holliday Grainger, Anamaria Vartolomei, and Thomas Turgoose in supporting roles.
Mickey 17 is set to be theatrically released in the United States on March 7, 2025, by Warner Bros. Pictures
