Darkseid is often recognized as a major foe of the Justice League as a whole, but he has also had memorable individual confrontations with Superman. As DC’s most formidable villain, his immense intelligence and power make him virtually impossible to defeat. While he might top a list of Justice League villains, securing third place on this list is more than appropriate.

2. Brainiac

It’s no surprise that Brainiac made the list. While he may not be Superman’s ultimate nemesis, he remains one of his most dangerous and enduring adversaries.
