Dafne Keen’s X-23 Still Has a Role To Play in the MCU According to the Most Recent Reports

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ has seen the return of many characters from Fox’s X-Men franchise, in fact, it’s those cameos that made the movie a true hit that’s currently breaking various box-office records.

One of the most anticipated cameos in the movie was the one from Dafne Keen as she returned to reprise her role as Laura aka X-23 from ‘Logan,’ released in 2017.

Now we know that Feige teased that the mutant era begins in the MCU with the release of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ and fans like Keen’s portrayal of X-23, with a large number of fans proposing that Keen takes over the role of MCU’s main Wolverine.

Now in his most recent Discord AMA Alex Perez confirmed that X-23 might appear in more MCU projects, notably in the Avengers films. This hasn’t been confirmed by the official sources however even if Perez is quite reliable as far as leakers go.

Alex: She’ll be back for the Avengers films, and that’s all I know.

Recently, Keen confirmed that X-23 who appeared in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is the same version of the character we’ve seen in ‘Logan,’ although it’s never been cleared up exactly how she ended up in the Void.

X-23 took part in a massive fight against Cassandra Nova’s force in the Void, but her fate was ultimately cleared up at the end of the movie. After defeating Cassandra Nova and saving the Multiverse, Deadpool asked Hunter B-15 to return the Resistance members to their homes. B-15 complied, but Laura chose to remain with Logan, who was now in Deadpool’s universe. Laura and Logan joined Wilson and his friends for dinner, where they spent time together, including playing with Dogpool.

So, Laura has equal chances to appear in all projects in which Wolverine and Deadpool are expected to appear considering that they share a reality and everything that affects them affects her as well. The actress also confirmed she would like to reprise her role.
