Dan Fogelman Confirms ‘Paradise’ Season 2 Starts Filming Soon: “It Won’t Be 2 Years, I Promise!”

Paradise is an American political thriller TV series created by Dan Fogelman. The show premiered on Hulu in the U.S. on January 26, 2025, and received mostly positive reviews from critics. In February 2025, it was renewed for a second season.

The series takes place in a massive underground bunker in Colorado, three years after a disaster. It follows Secret Service agent Xavier Collins, who is trying to uncover the truth behind the President’s murder. As suspicion falls on him, Xavier searches for answers, unsure of who he can trust. His investigation leads to shocking discoveries that change everything.

Dan Fogelman recently revealed that the show’s season 2 would begin production soon. The confirmation came after a fan joked that he shouldn’t wait 2 years to deliver season 2:

The cast of Paradise features Sterling K. Brown as Xavier Collins, a Secret Service agent investigating the President’s murder while protecting his children, played by Aliyah Mastin and Percy Daggs IV. James Marsden appears as President Cal Bradford, seen only in flashbacks, while Julianne Nicholson plays Samantha Redmond, the powerful leader of the bunker.

The ensemble also includes Krys Marshall as a Secret Service agent with secrets of her own, Sarah Shahi as a grief specialist, and Nicole Brydon Bloom as another agent on the president’s security team, alongside a mix of recurring characters with ties to the bunker and the president’s past.
