The trailer also gives us a sneak peek at the opening song by HoneyWorks featuring HaKoniwalily, titled ‘Shitsumon, Koitte Nandeshō ka?’ (Question: What is Love?).

The anime stars Kikunosuke Toya as Yū Natsume and Sayumi Suzushiro as Himari Inuzuka. Yuka Nukui will voice Rion Enomoto. Supporting characters are played by Kō Bonkobara as Shinji Makishima, Masaaki Mizunaka as Hibari Inuzuka, and Hisako Kanemoto as Sakura Natsume.

The anime will air in April, and the staff includes Youhei Suzuki as director at J.C. Staff, Nozu Yaemori handling the series composition, and Natsuki Ōyama as character designer. Music for the anime will be composed by Jun Ichikawa, and Jin Aketagawa will handle sound direction.

The light novel series began in January 2021, with the 10th volume released in December 2024. A manga adaptation started in August 2021. The anime will also feature an ending song, ‘Dear my Soleil,’ by Hina Tachibana.

The upcoming anime is shaping up to be a must-watch, especially for fans of romantic comedies.
