‘Daredevil: Born Again’ NYCC Trailer Leaks Online Teasing Action & Tone Similar to Netflix’s Show

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is one of the most highly anticipated MCU projects, driven by both fan excitement and its rocky production history, which has faced challenges ranging from the SAG-AFTRA strike to creative clashes between the showrunners and the studio.

During this year’s NYCC exclusive trailer was shown to the audiences and luckily, it didn’t take long for it to leak online.

The teaser trailer for ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ has dropped some exciting plot reveals and character confirmations for the first season. It’s now official that Muse will be the series’ main villain, while White Tiger will make an appearance, validating earlier set leak rumors. Bullseye, meanwhile, starts the season behind bars.

The trailer shows us a temporary truce between Matt Murdock and Kingpin, though it seems likely to unravel. In a surprising connection to ‘Ms. Marvel,’ Yusuf Khan, Kamala Khan’s father, will appear. We also see Matt reuniting with Frank Castle, a moment previously hinted at through leaked set footage.

The series brings back Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin—now running for mayor of New York City—and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher.

New characters include Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, Michael Gandolfini as Daniel Blade, and Kamar de los Reyes as Hector Ayala/White Tiger. Returning fan favorites like Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, and Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter/Bullseye also feature prominently.

And yes, this is the same footage shown earlier this year during the D23 event.

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is set to premiere on Disney+ on March 4, 2025, with 18 episodes split into two halves. It will be a key part of Phase Five of the MCU.
