‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is the highly anticipated revival of Netflix’s ‘Daredevil.’ With this creative reboot, several characters from the original series will officially enter the MCU, alongside new additions to the cast.

We know that Muse will serve as the show’s main villain, but nearly a year ago, set leaks confirmed that the MCU will also introduce White Tiger as a supporting character. Kamar de los Reyes is set to portray the character, but even before the show’s release, various theories have surfaced suggesting that he may meet his demise before the season ends.

Now, notable industry insider Daniel Richtman has shared new information that supports these theories. According to Richtman, ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ will establish that Hector Ayala, the original White Tiger, lives with his sister and her daughter. In the comics, both of these characters—Hector’s sister, Awilda Ayala, and her daughter, Angela del Toro—eventually take up the White Tiger mantle after him.

This detail suggests that the MCU may be setting up one of them to become the next White Tiger—likely following Hector’s death.

Who Is The White Tiger? ‘Daredevil’ Rumored Villain Explained

White Tiger is not a character but rather a superhero alias used by numerous characters. The first one was Hector Ayala, but then his niece, Angela Del Toro, inherited the amulets that gave Hector the powers. Lately, Hector’s wife, Ava Ayala, has taken over the mantle.

Ayala was the first White Tiger to become a vigilante on the streets of New York, fighting crime, destroying drug lords and criminal empires, and working with other superheroes. Daredevil was a common associate of the White Tiger, but eventually, Hector was framed for murder.

He turned to Matt Murdock to help him as a lawyer, but just before Matt could reveal the evidence that cleared Hector’s name, the first White Tiger was gunned down while trying to escape his wrongful incarceration.

This is certainly an interesting rumor, and for Hector to lose his life in the show certainly fits the dark and twisted story that both the cast and showrunners have been teasing ahead of the show’s premiere.
