A couple of months back we reported on the rumors that the live-action ‘Teen Titans’ movie is in development and those rumors were confirmed to be true with the writer already picked to write the movie.

Ana Nogueira, who is already working on ‘Supergirl: the Woman of Tomorrow’ was hired to pen the project. At this point, nothing is known about the movie, except of course the writer.

Now popular insider going under the username Apocalyptic Horseman has revealed likely the most interesting detail regarding the movie – the team’s roster.

Apocalyptic Horseman recently held a Q&A on his private X profile, among plenty of interesting information the insider revealed that ‘The Authority’ is now being reworked into an animated and the alleged roster of the upcoming movie.

According to the insider, the team’s roster will feature characters from the popular animated ‘Teen Titans’ cartoon. This means we should expect Robin, Starfire, Cyborg, Raven, and Beast Boy. The insider however revealed he is unsure which Robin will appear in the movie.

Teen Titans is based on stories from the 1980s by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, featuring characters and themes introduced during that time.

The main team consists of Robin (the smart leader), Starfire (a curious alien princess), Cyborg (a half-human, half-robot with strength and tech skills), Raven (a girl with dark powers from another world), and Beast Boy (a jokester who can transform into animals). They live in Titans Tower, located on an island near Jump City, where they fight crime and threats while also facing personal challenges and growing up together.

The cartoon was insanely popular it ran for 5 seasons and the franchise consists of a special, a movie, and a crossover released back in 2019. Based on all of this, it’s not such a great surprise that this lineup is the one we can expect in the movie.
