DCEU Star Zachary Levi Urges Colleagues To Vote for Donald Trump Because Hollywood Won’t Exist Soon

Zachary Levi star of two ‘Shazam’ films set in DCEU is recently filling headlines, but not because of his thriving career as an actor. In the last several weeks the actor has been very vocal regarding his endorsement of presidential candidate Donald Trump.
This has caused significant backlash when it comes to his fans, and the fans of his movies overall.
Zachary Levi recently used Instagram to respond to Whoopi Goldberg’s statement that Hollywood has “always been a very right-leaning town.” This discussion started after Levi publicly endorsed Donald Trump for president during an episode of ‘The View.’ He mentioned that supporting Trump could harm his career because Hollywood is mostly liberal.
Goldberg disagreed, calling his claim “more B.S.” She explained that Hollywood is a mix of beliefs and sometimes has more Democrats or Republicans, but very few people openly support being Republican. She also pointed out that some Republican actors, like Jon Voight and Dennis Quaid, still have successful careers.
Levi pointed out that Goldberg could only mention two Republican actors, Jon Voight and Dennis Quaid. He added, “Of the thousands of actors in Hollywood, the fact that you could only name two shows the truth of the matter.”
Levi continued to claim that there are numerous actors in Hollywood ready to support Trump, but they are afraid, rightfully that they would be committing career suicide:
There are plenty, and by the way, they’ve sent me lots of messages, plenty of people in my industry, in Hollywood, who are terrified to publicly say they would vote for Donald Trump or be conservative in any way.
That’s why you don’t see them. That’s why they’re not very prevalent or prominent. They know there’s ramifications for this kind of shit.
But ya’ll, our industry is going to be fucking gonzo. It already is. We’re getting eroded. The pandemic and the strikes.. they’ve already eroded it so much. My cry to all of you out there, you closeted Trump voters, it’s now or never. Do whatever you feel like you need to do. If you need to come out publicly and say it, if you feel like you still can’t, then don’t.
I would never pressure you to do that. But know that if what you’re afraid of is somehow the backlash of an industry that’s not going to exist very soon, then don’t let that hold you back.
Levi is sure that his career has taken a hit due to his endorsement of Donald Trump, however inside sources close to the actor claim that he is bitter due to not becoming “the next Captain America.”
The actor allegedly believed and hoped that his Shazam role would be a big break, but this didn’t happen. The first ‘Shazam!’ was a success, ‘Shazam 2’ flopped and DCEU was soon after that buried.
Levi is no longer living in Los Angeles as he relocated to Texas, according to the source, and he is now focusing on “faith-based” productions. This would make his recent endorsements and life philosophies a calculated career move rather than something that the actor genuinely supports.
