There’s no doubt we’ll get more and more MCU content in the coming years. We already know there are two new ‘Avengers’ movies on the way, the fourth ‘Captain America’ movie, reboots of ‘Blade’ and ‘Fantastic Four,’ and don’t even get us started on all the streaming shows that will premiere on Disney+. Still, even with so much content, there’s no doubt that the upcoming ‘Deadpool 3’ is one of the most-anticipated MCU movies, maybe even one of the most-anticipated superhero movies generally.

There are plenty of reasons for that. The previous two ‘Deadpool’ movies were indeed equally successful both critically and commercially, and even though MCU will eventually reboot the ‘X-Men’ franchise, there was never any question that anyone else could play Deadpool but one and only Ryan Reynolds.

That’s a big deal, and the bigger deal is that the upcoming threequel will see the return of Hugh Jackman as Logan, aka Wolverine, for the first time after 2017’s ‘Logan.’ And when you add the fact that ‘Deadpool 3’ will bring the Merc with a Mouth to the MCU and that it will also be the first R-rated MCU movie, what other reasons do you need to look forward to this movie?

‘Deadpool 3’: Three More ‘X-Men’ Cast Members Will Reportedly Return

‘Deadpool 3’ will bring back many familiar faces, but one ‘Deadpool 2’ will be absent!

While the plot is kept under wraps, it’s presumed that ‘Deadpool 3’ will feature some traveling between realities and that classical multiverse stuff since this movie will transfer Deadpool from Fox’s ‘X-Men’ franchise to Disney’s MCU. The movie will feature many returning stars, including Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, Leslie Uggams, and Stefan Kapičić, but one character who had an important role in the previous ‘Deadpool’ movie will not return. We’re talking about Zazie Beetz’s Domino.

“Well, I’m actually not in Deadpool 3, so I don’t know what they’re doing [about improvisation]. I’m assuming they’re probably taking a pause. […] I’m excited to watch it.”

Zazie Beetz for Decider

Beetz previously said that she would love to reprise the role of Domino in no matter how many ‘Deadpool’ sequels, but from what she says right now, it looks like her return in the next ‘Deadpool’ movie ultimately won’t happen. Unless, in the end, it actually does, it’s not like we haven’t had those situations in superhero movies before.

Zazie Beetz is a German-American actress who is best known for starring in the ‘Atlanta’ TV series, which brought her a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award in 2018. In movies, she’s known for starring in 2017’s ‘Geostorm,’ 2018’s ‘Deadpool 2’ and 2019’s ‘Joker.’ She’s set to return for the sequel ‘Joker: Folie à Deux,’ which is set to be released in October 2024.

‘Deadpool 3’ is currently in production, directed by Shawn Levy, who previously worked with Ryan Reynolds on ‘Free Guy’ and ‘The Adam Project.’ ‘Deadpool 3’ is set to be released on November 8, 2024.

Are you disappointed that Domino won’t return in ‘Deadpool 3,’ or do you believe she might return in the end? Let us know in the comments.
