‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ reigned this summer’s box office and ended its run with $636.7 million in the United States and Canada and $701.3 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of $1.338 billion, making it the second highest-earning movie of 2024 (after ‘Inside Out 2’ which earned a staggering $1.699).
Ryan Reynolds’ and Hugh Jackman’s MCU debut also has a strong 7.7 IMDb score, 78% Rotten Tomatoes critics score, and an incredible 94% audience RT score.
The movie continued to perform well even after a streaming release. Within six days of streaming, ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ pulled 19.4 million views, not so narrowly missing Pixar’s animated sequel film, which pulled 30.5 million views in five days. However, it wasn’t quite the record it beat.
