Most fans regarded Deadpool & Wolverine, featuring Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, as the most highly anticipated film of the year.

The film has shattered multiple box office records and is among the most profitable releases of the year. Having surpassed the $1 billion mark, it now stands as the second highest-grossing film of the year, following Inside Out 2.

When it first premiered, the movie was a hot topic here at Comic Basics, but it’s been a while since we’ve provided extensive coverage. While it will be available on home media next month, we can enjoy a newly released deleted scene in the meantime.

This deleted scene occurs at the beginning of the film, right when Deadpool is taken by the TVA. It adds more depth to the scene and hints at the existence of an unreleased MCU movie that many fans would love to see.

Before we share any text, we’ll first present the scene itself so you can experience it firsthand, as we always do:

In addition to another round of dialogue between Paradox and Deadpool, the trailer reveals a film titled Dr. Ant in the Quantumverse of Madness, a playful nod to Ant-Man 3: Quantumania and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

This serves as another meta moment, suggesting that there’s a version of the MCU where Deadpool can enjoy movies featuring Ant-Man as Doctor Strange.

Within the MCU canon, this movie exists in a parallel universe, and we’re certain many fans would love to see it. Speaking of fans, here are their comments on the scene:
