Deleted ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Matt Murdock Scene Builds Even More Hype for ‘Daredevil: Born Again’

One of the most anticipated upcoming projects in the MCU is Marvel’s ‘Daredevil: Born Again‘ series. Originally part of a separate Marvel TV label, Daredevil and other characters from those series have now been integrated into the MCU, opening up a wealth of new possibilities.

Fans are especially excited to see Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin return, but the real draw is Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, a character so beloved that many are thrilled to have him back. It’s been a while since Cox fully stepped into the role of Matt Murdock, though the MCU has already hinted at his presence with a few brief cameos.

One of those cameos was in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home,‘ which is what we’re focusing on here. Recently, a deleted scene was released showing Murdock and Happy Hogan at a hearing, and watching it only fuels our desire for more Daredevil content!

Before diving into the details, let’s show you the scene in question so you can enjoy it for yourself:

As you can see, this scene is a true gem for Daredevil fans, with Matt Murdock representing Happy Hogan during a hearing. Despite being blind, Matt notices Happy’s nervousness and tells him to stop sweating, which surprises Happy, who can’t figure out how Matt knows these details. Although this is a Spider-Man-related moment, it heightens our excitement for Daredevil: Born Again, which is likely to include many more scenes like this.

We’re not alone in our enthusiasm—fans have also shared their excitement in the comments:

The fact that Matt Murdock’s cameo was the third best in the this movie says something. This film is hands down the best project of phase 4!

I dare say (no pun intended) that daredevil was one of the best marvel shows out there. strong acting on all fronts, great storylines, especially kingpin’s. Charlie Cox really was the best daredevil found

Daredevil in MCU and born again is dream come true. such an incredible show with such fine actors. Huge fan of the show

I love this so much because Jon Favreau played Foggy in Daredevil 2003 and this feels like what would inevitably have happened if Foggy never became a lawyer. He’d say “Sure you can crash at my place” to the wrong guy and get accused of aiding and abetting or something
